Addiction It,
They, float above me,
Inside of me
Slowly but steadily they fall
Through the sky they breathe
In soft whispers they call me
And I fall with them
Their vacant souls evaporate
And I breathe them in
To dust they crumble
Like raindrops falling
And smash against the earth
I can feel them,
Inside of me
Kicking and screaming
I breath deeper
I inhale their invisible dust
Then hit the earth
Hard against wet pavement
Reality finds me
My illusion gone
I sit
Pressed against my cell wall
I feel lost to it
My impulse
And again I am denied |
