The Hitchhiker (chapter 2)

Me: "Thank God this is a
24 hour gas station."

Store Clerk: "You wouldn't find many around here."

Me: "Could I have a 25 pack
of Players please?"

Store Clerk: "Sure, no problem."

Me: "Do you have a bathroom handy?"

Store Clerk: "Yes, in the back of the store."

Me: "Thanks."

Store Clerk: "You're welcome."

I walked to the back of the store,
saw the washroom door
and walked in.
I had to hurry up and get home.
It was going to take me at least
another hour or so.

As I was leaving the wasroom,
I had noticed I didn't have my purse.
I rushed back into the washroom
and grabbed it off the sink.
I'm glad I noticed I didn't have it.

I felt a little strange
being in this gas station
surrounded by these strange individuals.
