A Dozen Longstem Roses For My Soldier Longstem Roses because the beauty may be in the bud but the strength is in the stem. When it comes to him and I the rose just fits, I'm his bud and he's my stem. As unique as we both may be we compliment each other.
Red: for the blood he is so willing to shed and the love that it represents.
White: for purity, innocence, honor, loyalty, integrity, and peace.
Blue: for the sadness their loved ones feel while they are so bravely fighting for our freedom which does not come without a price.
Yellow: in prayer for a safe homecoming and for the sunshine that he put into my daily life.
Everytime I walk through the green grass and stop to smell the roses, I will take just a moment to reflect and pay tribute knowing that while I was walking, they were crawling through the heated desert in the sand and remember Americia and Our Soldiers stand for all four colors in the dozen I send to him.
