A Love Letter Written In The Sand I hold in the palm of my hand
A love letter written in the sand
It came from a foreign land
The envelope reads the words Free Mail
Promices that your love for me will not fail
I pray that in this war you will prevail
It now lies in my scrapbook
Along side the photos we took
When I get lonely I take a look
I cherrish all that you had to say
But vows you took stole our time away
I would trade this letter for you any day
On paper those sweet words will always be
Flown for miles from you addressed to me
Thoughts that wont vanish by wind or sea
Preacious words written by your hand
Only to give me a letter written in the sand
Because your job took you to another land
