Bright Light I see a bright shining light
Shining out across the night
Is it the headlight of a car?
That's shining from afar
The light is getting brighter
As I sit here on my own
Should I run for cover?
Should I run for home?
With the light there is a sound
It's coming from all around
It doesn't sound like a car
It's a sound I've never heard before
It seems to be heading for me
Is this some crazy dream?
I pinch myself to be sure
I'm wide-awake that's for sure
Suddenly the lights go out
I'm too scared to even shout
The noise gets louder still
Like the wind blowing up the hill
I panic and I drop to the floor
What's this happening to me for?
I look up from off the floor
Whatever it was is no more
