On My Own I'm on my own in my room
Sending messages through to you
And although you're far away
You brighten up this rainy day
I feel so down and alone
Everyday you're not around
I miss the way you hold me tight
And tell me everything's all right
On the day you go away
I'm going to miss you in every way
Although you're going on holiday
My life will be lonely once again
While your gone I'll right for you
A lovely long note or two
I'll write a lovely poem too
Saying how much I miss you
On the day that you come home
Don't forget to ring my phone
Once again you'll hold me tight
And tell me everything's all right
