Peace I sometimes dream of peace in the world
Where no one ever fights
The cold-blooded wars have vanished
And no one ever dies
Peace is what we need now
In this new century
Why can't the world be as one?
In a great new unity
Peace in the world would give us hope
On this great earth we'd be able to cope
We could travel safely from one place to the next
Never fearing for our lives from one day to the next
Let this planet be a peaceful one
And make my dream come true
Stop this petty fighting
That's all we have to do
Until peace becomes reality
I'll dream my dream
It will be my perfect world
Whenever I need to get away
