The Stars The stars they shine so brightly
Up in the night sky
Some are brighter than the rest
Shining through the blackness
Some of them are planets
Bigger than the Earth
They are many miles away
Shining on the Earth
The moon is up there too
Stopping some stars shining through
Men have walked on the moon
They'll be back there very soon
The stars still twinkle in the night
Showing us their peaceful light
Do they twinkle for me and you?
Watching everything we do
Will we ever touch the stars?
Shining way out past mars
Not in this life or the next
Before we do we'll all be dead
