The Storm The sky is grey and cloudy
Which lasts into the night
The sky is ever so cloudy
Which lasts all of the night
I gaze out of my window
At the clouds floating by
I feel myself floating
Like the clouds that float so high
The wind is blowing strong now
I know the reason why
The rain begins falling
On the people walking by
I see a flash of lightning
Dance across the sky
It flashes so brightly
It lights up the night sky
The rain it gets so heavy
Like the beating of some drums
It starts to fill a puddle
That's forming in the road
Then there's total silence
Nothing can be heard
The storm is blowing over
Never to return
