A Lonely Man There is a lonely man I know
His name, I cannot say
But he is such a lonely man
He is in so much pain
He met a girl on a sunny day
He knew that luck had come his way
He fell in love straight away
On this wonderful sunny day
For him it was love at first sight
At last things were looking bright
He hoped that this love would last
His love for her would always last
There were good and bad times too
Like many others have them too
But soon his luck was to end
The girl he loved said it's the end
Since that day this man I know
Has tried not to let his pain show
To this day he hides the pain
Forever crying in the rain
You may know this lonely man
He wrote this poem with his own hand
So now you know why he hides
The pain that he feels inside
