A Small Child A young small child was taken away
On a frosty winters day
His family now grieve for their loss
They cry for the child they have lost
How could God be so cruel?
To take away one so small
The child had many hopes and dreams
Now they're gone with a flood of tears
Now the child has gone away
Gone away to a better place
He'll smile down on his ma and pa
And an aunt that loved him so
Now we must be strong for them
And help their troubled hearts to mend
We as their friends must help them through
The pain that they are going through
The happy memories they will keep
However much they have to weep
Remember all the good times you had
And keep the memories in your head
All your friends are here for you
We will always be here for you
For this small child tears are cried
Remember he's somewhere in Gods great sky
