                   Hero's Forever

I read the papers and feel the pain
Of people who have died in vain
There was no reason to take them away
From the life they enjoyed each day

They'll never see their loved ones again
Never see their families again
They'll always be remembered though
Never forgotten by anyone

What of the hero's that died that day?
They'll be thought of every day
They died trying to save their fellow man
We'll remember them in any way we can

They've been gone for so long
But it will never ease the pain
Those we've lost are far away
Watching us everyday

Now they're in a better place
Like many they've been laid to rest
They look down at us as we grieve
For those who gave their lives
