The Rainbows End Raindrops are falling
Onto the road
The wind is blowing strong now
Making it feel cold
I look out of the window
The raindrops hit the glass
The trees sway from side to side
As I look through the glass
A dark cloud is coming
Toward my tiny house
The dark cloud is moving
As if it's in a race
The rain gets very heavy
It's falling really fast
It splashes on the window
Like it's trying to clean the glass
The rain then starts easing
As the dark cloud blows away
The sun starts to shine again
Drying up the rain
As the cloud moves away
A rainbow starts to form
And at the end of this rainbow
Is a girl I used to know
She always shone so brightly
Like the sun in the sky
And like the sun dries the rain
She would dry the tears in my eye
But like a rainbow vanishes
She vanished from my life
But she was more beautiful
Then any rainbow I had seen
Now every time I see the rain
With the sun close behind
I watch out for a rainbow
And the girl I used to love
If the rainbow doesn't come
I'll be left all alone
And the girl that I used to love
Will never come home
