Why Are You Alone? I see you sitting on your own
I wonder why you're all alone
Have you lost someone who you loved?
Are you lonely in your life?
I stop and ask if you're ok
You politely ask me to go away
But I cannot stand to see you cry
So I ask again if you're all right
The tears you cry roll down your face
Your tears they seem so out of place
What has made you feel this way?
I see you're sad and offer to stay
I hand you a tissue to dry your eyes
But still the tears fall from your eyes
We start to talk and then I say
What has happened to you today?
You tell me that you have no one to love
No one to feel all of your love
I tell you I've been that way for so long
I know what its like when things go wrong
But now you've felt the love of a friend
Even though we've only just met
I give you my number and ask you to call
Whenever you feel you need to talk
