A Christmas Wish If I Could have a Christmas wish
It would be to have the girl I miss
I'd wish for her to be with me
Sitting in front of the Christmas tree
We'd swap gifts on Christmas Day
Sharing our time on this day
We'd visit our parents for Christmas lunch
Trying not to eat too much
My Christmas wish won't come true
However much I want it to
I'll spend Christmas on my own
Sitting here all alone
I'm sure the wish I made this year
Was the same as last year
Even that one didn't come true
I wish I knew what to do
I know a girl has wished the same
She's wished not to be on her own again
I wish I could find out where she lives
So we both finally get our wish
All I can do is hope and pray
Repeating my wish every day
This Christmas things will never change
But I will hope and pray
