As we gaze into the night
As we sit on this hill
The stars shine brighter still
It is just the two of us
Staring at the universe
If we see a shooting star
We know a wish will not be far
As we sit here in the night
The moon slowly rises high
As it lights up the sky
We both hug and close our eyes
It is just the two of us
Sitting in the silence
No cars or people break the peace
Just you and I enjoying the peace
We sit and talk
As the world goes by
Watching the stars
Shining so bright
I'm so happy sitting here with you
There's nothing else I'd rather do
And as I sit here with you
My love for is so true
We lay back and watch the moon
Chatting and laughing under the moon
Our time together seems to stop
It feels like we've been here forever
We look into each other's eyes
And smile at each other
As we lay here on the ground
We both relax and hold hands
Every time I gaze into your eyes
I see the stars that are in the sky
Every time I see your smile
It tells me that you love me
I could lay here under these stars
Every night with you by my side
Our love will last forever
As long as we watch the stars
A star will always shine for you
Far away in the night sky
I'm so glad that you're with me
Enjoying this beautiful night
It will always be the two of us
Sitting here and talking away
As long as we are together
