Prayer For The Love Of My Life I don't want to be lonely
When I am old
Life wouldn't be worth living
If I was lonely and old
All I want is the love of my life
To rescue me from this life
Every night I do pray
Every night this is what I say
Won't someone take me away?
Take me away from all this pain
I hate feeling this way
Each and every single day
I thought my life would be ok
But it hasn't worked out that way
Nothing seems to go right
What can I do with this life?
Won't someone hear my prayer?
Can't someone answer this prayer?
I say this prayer for my life
I pray to find the love of my life
I pray my love will hear me
Calling out to her
I pray my love will feel this
Terrible pain I'm in
I pray that she can hear me
Praying in this way
I pray that she will come to me
On this oh so lonely day
As I kneel here praying
My troubles float away
But it never seems to
Keep my troubles away
I shall keep on praying
That maybe one day
My prayers will be answered
Before it's too late
I pray for the love of my life
Wherever she may be
Every night I'll pray for her
Whoever she may be

I pray to the Lord himself
