Smile For My Friends I sit here and I'm wondering
Will my deep pain end?
I can no longer hide it
From all of my friends
They don't seem to realise
Just how bad it's been
They have never really seen
The constant pain I'm in
But it's getting better
The pain it slowly goes
It is drifting far off
To a distant land
As my heart is beating
A smile is on my face
I smile for the people
Who have helped me through this pain
For them I must smile
For them, my good friends
They all have helped me reach
Another better day
As long as I have them
These wonderful friends of mine
Every day that I wake
I'll be feeling fine
