           Spring And Summer

The sun of spring shines so bright
Like the smile of a small child
The winter's robins are now full grown
And soon will leave their winter home

The cold nights slowly drift away
As winter slowly fades away
The days will be longer
These will be such beautiful days

Wild flowers will swing and sway
Newborn fox cubs will play
As the spring time sun sets
Another day will come to an end

Soon the nights will be warm
As another summer is born
The sun will dry up lakes and ponds
Leaving holes of dried up mud

The summer sun will warm the sky
The Earth will become so dry
As we lay here in the sun
Our white skin will start to tan

As the days are long and hot
There's one thing I haven't forgot
This summer will be a lonely one
All my joy will be forgot
