The Big Day The night before our wedding
Has finally arrived
Our home is oh so silent
While I am home alone
You are at your mothers
I'm missing you like mad
Me seeing you before the wedding
Would be very bad
I sit here on the sofa
Wishing you were here
I sit in the quietness
Imagining you're here
I go to bed early
I've a big day ahead
Tomorrow is the day
We'll be husband and wife
The night passes so quickly
I'm up with the dawn
I make myself some coffee
On this sunny morn
I take a nice hot shower
To relax my nerves
Soon my best man will arrive
To take me to the church
I go into the bedroom
There hangs my wedding suit
I start getting ready
I look great in my suit
I hear the doorbell ringing
My best man has arrived
I check I've got everything
Then we head to the church
We arrive quite early
The priest he welcomes us
We run through the service
While our guests arrive
The organ it is playing
A sweet melody
Then everything falls silent
The priest he smiles at me
The wedding march starts playing
I turn my head to see
A beautiful girl dressed in white
Whose about to marry me
You look so stunning
In your wedding dress
I am really happy now
We've made the right choice
You stand here beside me
In your dress of white
The service is under way
I'm feeling all right
Your brother he is filming
This wonderful event
This day will live forever
On a video cassette
We say our dos and our wills
We sing some lovely hymns
Then the priest pronounces us
Husband and wife
He says you may kiss the bride
I lift up your vale
I give you a long long kiss
While everyone claps and cheers
Then we sign the register
To prove what we've just done
We go outside to have the photo's done
I'm so glad at we've done
We head off to the reception
Where we will dance and sing
The honeymoon comes later
After we dance and sing
