Winters Getting Closer Winters getting closer
The nights are getting cold
Our winter coats will soon come out
To protect us from the cold
The trees will soon be bare
Stripped of their leaves
The animals that hibernate
Are preparing for their sleep
Soon it will be Halloween
And bonfire night
We'll watch the fireworks
Lighting up the sky
We'll warm ourselves by the fire
Trying to keep warm
On this night of fireworks
We'll slowly drive home
Fireworks will still be banging
On our slow drive home
But its all been worth it because
It reminds us of being young
But soon it will be over
The snow will soon come
Everything will all be white
While we are warm at home
