A Friendly Thanks The cloud that covers the sky tonight
Covers the pain of my life
So much has gone wrong for me
Only my friends helped me to believe
They were there when I needed to cry
They rescued me when I wanted to die
They gave me their strength and love
They showed me I wasn't alone
Its thanks to them I could see
What life should really mean
Whenever I felt sad and alone
They were ready to talk on the phone
All these friends I love so much
They were there when my heart was broke
They'd try and stick up for me
Thanks to them I still believe
I believe my life will be
Like the love they've shown me
Always there and oh so near
Forever close and always near
So I say thanks to my friends
For being such caring friends
You'll all have a place in my heart
Forever safe in my heart
