A Love Story Somewhere in a distant time
A guy is meeting a girl
Somewhere in an unknown land
The guy is holding the girls hand
They explore their strange home
And slowly fall in love
But they do not realise
One of them must go
The guy is sent away
Banished from the land
The love that he has found
Has been torn away
The guy sets out on his own
Searching for a new home
He finds himself in a far off land
Far away from his home town
Many years are passing
The guy now has to work
But his mind is always on
The love that he once had
The years are passing faster
The guy can't stand the pain
He goes in search of his true love
Before his life fades away
He travels over many lands
And over many seas
Searching for the girl he loved
Who always filled his dreams
One day something happens
There's a big parade
Some people from a hidden place
Have come to a great land
As the guy is watching
He sees her in the crowd
The girl he's been searching for
Has now been found
He tries to talk to her
But she pushes him away
He's stunned by her actions
He doesn't know what to say
The people who are passing
Are those who sent him away
He goes to the girl's father
This is what he says
Won't you please forgive me?
For the wrongs I have done
I have learnt many things
Since you sent me away
I know you knew my father
I am part of your tribe
I love your only daughter
And want her to be my wife
The girl's father gets to his feet
The guy he kneels down
He lowers his shameful head
As the girls father says
My boy it's been a while
And now you show your face
It has been many years
Since I sent you away
You have shown much courage
Living in this great place
You shall marry my daughter
And return to your birthplace
So once again the guy and girl
Hold each other's hands
Sharing in each others love
While exploring all the land
