My Dearest Friend I know you're always here for me

Whenever I'm feeling sad
You try to cheer me up
I wish that you were always here
To give me a friendly hug
All the things I've named above
Are what make you special to me
I could think of some more
That make you who you are
I know you won't leave me
And you never will
You have a place in my heart
And you always will
You ask how I put up with you
This poem must explain
Why I'll always love you
And how much I love being with you
I'm glad I know you
And your crazy ways
They also make you special
In so many different ways
Every time I breathe the air
Its you I miss my friend
Every time I watch the stars
I see your friendly face
You mean so much to me
More than words can say
But this little poem
Should show what I'm trying to say
I guess I should end this
With a few more truthful words
You'll always be my angel
Sent to protect me
You may think I'm crazy
By saying what I say
But the truth still remains
You brighten up my lonely days
