Waiting For Her To Return

I stand-alone and watch her
The wind blowing through her hair
She's walking away from me
As in my heart it starts to rain

All I can do is watch her
Walking out of my life
She continues walking
Never looking back

I do nothing but watch and wait
In the hope she'll come back
But as I stand here watching her
She vanishes out of sight

I drop to my knees and ask why
Why has she walked out of my life?
I beg for her to come back
Deep down I know she won't come back

I spend these lonely days alone
Sitting here all sad and alone
I go to where I saw her last
Each time I'm there it breaks my heart

I wait for her to return
I've been waiting here forever
I'll wait here till the day I die
Until then I'll wait and cry
