Birthday I sit here on my birthday
I watch the morning sun
As the sky gets brighter
A new day has begun
Today is my birthday
But its just an ordinary day
I won't be celebrating this one
No not today
My heart is completely broken
With sadness inside
I don't feel like celebrating
Now I've turned twenty-nine
Nothing but sorrow fills this day
The bright sky seems so grey
I'll spend today on my own
My birthday is always spent alone
I'll spend the day sound asleep
Until its time to eat
I'll hide away on this day
Waiting for the start of another new day
