  Alone Again At Christmas

My heart and soul are ready
For another Christmas alone
You'd think I'd be used to it
Always being alone

I'll walk through the snow filled streets
With no one holding my hand
No warm hugs will I receive
When I start to feel the cold

Of all the presents I'll be sent
I'll never get the one I want
Why can't someone send me?
A woman with a golden heart

But no, just like every year
I'll be on my own
Sitting out in the winter air
Trying not to cry

But does anyone really care
They're busy having too much fun
I'll just wander through these streets
And spend this time alone

Maybe as I walk along
I'll meet someone just like me
A girl who is all alone
Wandering these snow filled streets
