Joy I have greeting the day a new.
With coffee and sweet roll, outside I go.
I hear the sounds of nature, sweet to the ears.
Woodpeckers pecking,hawks calling.
Hummingbirds find honeysuckle and flowers a delightful meal.
Black birds invade the corn fields as bluebirds call their mate.
Rabbits and groundhogs feed on clover, tending their young.
Bees buzzing,in nectar of the plants.
Finches look for a place to build their nest.
Deer births young, in the thicket of the woods.
Red birds rest upon the fence, searching for food to feed their young.
Delightful sounds, a new day begins, creation is in motion.
Short are mens lives, vacationing in a paradise.
Generations pass, God's circle of seasons go on.
Should we not stop, smell the roses, pick a flower for the one we love.
