Red Moon

A cold
crispy morning
on a lit street
not a sound
nothing.

All was quiet,
it was about
six o'clock
in the morning.

I stopped to notice
the sun was slowly
starting to rise
in the east.

I turned around
to see a
red moon
setting in the west.

How beautiful
it looked,
I hav never seen
anything like this before
it was rare.

I was in
total awe
the sky around
the red moon
was a hazy orange.

I tuned out
everything else around me,
as I stood
and gazed at the
red moon.
