Grand-Children
8-29-2000

Grand-kids come to visit.
They would like to stay.
A big hug is hello.
A kiss is good-by.
We look to identify fingerprints left behind.
They won't be little long.
Age will move them all.
Their smile is our happiness.
Their cries we remember.
Their visits are sunshine on our cloudy days.
Chocolate we give them .
They wear more than they eat.
Seems God gave a second chance to remember.
It's little things that matter most.
Chocolate faces running for the car.
A wave of good-by leaves two happy hearts.
Grand-ma and Grand-pa
