I Came, I Saw

I came into
the world in 1972
I almost died,
was rushed from
one hospital to another.

I was brought up
to be a country girl,
cause that's where
I was born,
I went through
hardships while I
was growing up.

Now that I'm
a grown woman,
I saw what the
world has to offer
and it isn't much.
