Abiding faith

Abiding Faith
Written 4/22/1995

Heaven seems so far away.
Alive today,I am glad to be.
I listen as you speak to me,
In many of your ways.
I felt you as you touched me,woke for today.
Last night night you winked at me,
with twinkling in the stars.
I felt you as you passed by me,
Wind across the brow.
I heard you sing,
As birds woke this morning.
I heard you in silence,as I bowed to pray.
Heaven seems far away, but close to me you are.
Your smell is the fragrance of the flowers.
Heaven seems so far away.
But close to me, you will always be.
You're the greatness of the sea, rain and sunshiny days.
You are my friend. you I will always need.
