Dearest Friend

Dearest friend
written/8/17/1997

I found a friend in a wilderness of people.
His face was like a blaze of light.
As I got real close to him,I saw a heart of gold.
His eyes were made of sympathy, filled with love and care.
His hands were reaching out to me.
He said ,come I'll walk with you forever.
You'll never be alone.
When you are sad,
My arms will hold you like no other.
I'll make you laugh when you are sad.
I'll pick you up when you fall.
I'll make the storms fade with sunshine.
I'll help you climb the roughest mountain.
I'll be with you in your lonesome valleys.
I said ,but what is your name?
He replied ,I am Jesus, your dearest friend.
