Call Of Love

Call Of Love
To my husband Calvin 11-19-2001

The day is wintry, snow blows in brisk winds.
Come sit by the fire, watch blue blazes rise.
Lay your head upon my breast, feel warm passion be birthed.
Kiss my breast, touch my lips to yours.
Hear the silence love leaves behind.
Lets embrace as the fire consumes the logs.
Let the flames of love overtake us.
Whisper love in my ear, let bare skin touch.
In Your eyes I see reflections of a gold band placed years ago.
Our eyes weaken, we embrace.
Flesh intertwines as one, the night watches.
Silver threads and golden needle bind hearts together as one.
Our bed becomes a memorial of love shared through the years.
