Christmas Gift

Christmas Gift.
12-6-1997

Celebrating Christmas is a joyful time of the year.
To busy giving and receiving to remember just what it means.
Merchants makes money,loves every cent.
Family visits, brags on what they've got.
It was the time Christ was born,a gift to every man.
A savior was born to teach grace,to make the earth a better place.
Christmas is not chocolate candy , brand new toys and earthly gain.
It's the time Christ was born and brought joy for which men sings.
He was born of a virgin, clean and undefiled.
Shepherds watched the heavens ,guiding lights from God.
With stars guiding they found him at his birth.
Heaven pointed to a stable,in a manger he layed.
He slept with the animals, stable clothes he wore.
His Mother in pain, her time had came.
She had to stay in a stable ,no room for her in the Inn.
A bed of straw was made to birthed the son of God.
Heaven stood still , angles watched in honor of his birth.
God gave to us the best he had,he gave to us his only son.
Have we forgotten ,the day of his birth?
