From A Cross To A Crown

From A Cross To A Crown
9-17-02

Lord what have I to rend unto thee?
A Tabernacle of flesh and bone.
Had it not been for a rugged cross, I would be lost.
You took a cross and gave me a crown.
Instead of judgment, grace and mercy.
The robe you gave, was prosperity, health and wealth.
Today I look through eyes of love.
I hear through ears of understanding.
MY hands, reach out to give.
My cries are, make me in thy image.
God you are the creator.
I am but clay in the potters hands.
Make me, a vessel of honor.
May I stand proud in thy kingdom.
From a sinner you created a saint.
From a cross you gave a crown.
