The Bride Awaits
Jesus is coming for his bride, she is adorned and ready.
Salvation covers her head, she's bought by his blood.
A robe of pure white he's given her.
Her eyes hold compassion for her fellow man.
She hears his commands, with joy speaks of how he keeps his word.
Nothing good has she done to deserve such a one.
He sends her gifts from his storehouse above.
Her breast, he's hidden with his righteousness so fine.
A sword of bright array,he's placed within her hand.
Her loins he girded, with truth that he is God.
With peace she spreads the Gospels ,Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
He's preparing her a place for where his is, she'll be also.
If it was not true, he would have told her so.
In a short while, a wedding will take place.
Encamped about, angels keeps her as she waits.
His love overshadows her,it shines upon her narrow path.
His hands is forever guiding her, to that perfect eternal day.
