Your Rose among The Thorns
The Rose among The Thorns
I am the rose-God sent to bloom in your life long ago.
I was your adopted daughter and friend.
God allowed me to help weather your storms.
I've stood among the thorns of hardship,loneliness and despiser.
I've tried to make sure life's sunshine you would always find.
So grateful I am to have known a flower so beautiful and Divine.
You are the dearest friend I've ever known.
Your loveliness will grow and exist from this world to the next.
The days we shared made me strong.
Without you I am left to weather life's hardships alone.
That is why I say I've been your rose among for many, many years.
I learned to love you as a precious mother and friend.
God gave me you ,when he took mine.
