A New Day Dawns

A new Day Dawns
written10/ 26/97

As morning comes before us ,
She takes a precious bow.
Darkness slips aside,
As she waves her robe of bright array.
She walks across our mountains ,
And flat lands we call earth.
Her teardrops of dew,glisten
As the sun shines upon our grassy fields.
She rides with the wind,
And sings the earth a song.
Her breath is as a sweet perfume,
As she watches earth's flowers bloom.
Her tears fill our rivers and streams-
Brings our sweetest dreams.
So spread your arms oh"Morning"
Push away the dark.
Fill our hearts with love light,
So we can live one more day.
