A VINA ROSE

By: Lavina Burgess
1/29/04

I have a small rose garden
Surrounded by a white picket fence
Rose bushes, filled with clusters of petals
Of reds, whites, and pinks

So natural and glamorous
With fragrances that fills the air
And no others will compare

I picked one rose
I loved the best
And I named it...
Vina Rose, the name I love the best

I heard, it's a tradition
To name flowers after celebrities
Like Dolly Parton...
She's a voluptuous hybrid tea rose
With perfect, pointed buds
Beautiful fragrance, and lipstick- red petals

So plant yourself some roses
In a garden, with lots of sun
Just pick a name and name it...
And make it a lot of fun!
