The Tooth

You sit there
and wiggle it
back and forth
with your tongue
and then with your finger.

You won't let me
take it out for you,
so I let you
take it out yourself.

It's hanging by
a thread,
keep wiggling it,
it's bound to come out
sooner or later.

You got it,
it's out.

I wrote this about my little 6 year old boy. He lost one of his front teeth today.
