Toothless Grin

You lst one
of your front teeth yesterday
the other one is
ready to come out,
it might hurt
a little bit,
awww, don't pout.

Why don't we
take turns
wiggling it loose?
I'm not taking no
for an answer,
it's no excuse.

It has to come out
mommy and daddy
don't want to take any chances
of you swallowing it,
sit still
don't be getting
into a hissy fit.

It took a
couple of hours,
but we got it out
you can be happy,
but don't scream and shout.

I find it funny
deep within,
to watch you smile and
show your toothless grin.

In less than 24 hours, my little boy lost both of his front teeth. I went and pulled on it, he jumped up off the seat and it fell onto the floor. It was funny.
