I watched a program
on television last night,
on children in Ireland,
and I found out
our city brings
kids over here from
two different religions
to show them how to
get along and have fun.
We bring over children
from the Protestant faith
and children from the
Catholic faith,
our city has done
this every year since 1988.
I feel sorry for the children
over in Ireland,
they can't talk or play
with eachother,
because of their faiths.
It's good that our city
pays for the trip
for the children from Ireland,
it gives them a chance
to come together and be friends.
When they have to
go back home,
they have to go
their separate ways
and they lose their friendships,
because of the war
between the
Catholics and Protestants.
