Him

He lurks in the shadows never to be seen. He hides away trying to forget. The pain it hurts him making him scared. So the secret remains never to be bared. This leaves him sitting all alone. So now he runs. Runs away. Avoiding the ones who wish him to stay. He just runs. Runs away. You can call his name you can try to plead but he'll just run away. He'll be gone; he'll never stay. He'll leave you wondering where he is. He'll leave you to worry about the things he carelessly left behind. He'll leave you wanting to know if he ever really cared. He'll leave you wondering if he wishes he were here. Did he think you'd never notice he's gone? Well I noticed, so before I leave you to ponder this poem I ask you who is your him?
