I Dreamt I Was On Horseback
I dreamt I was on horseback,
On a beach, down by the sea,
With not another living soul,
There's just my horse and me.
The beach went on forever,
The wind beneath our wings,
My horse and me together,
No thought of other things.
We're riding high and moving fast,
I let him take the lead,
I have no fear of falling,
For I trust my handsome steed.
I know he'll hold me steady,
And will not let me stray,
He'll lead me on to safety,
When danger comes my way.
I trust in him completely,
With him I'm not alone,
And when our journey's over,
It's he, who'll take me home.
