It's Nice To Get Some Flowers It’s nice to get some flowers,
And a card with words to say,
That someone’s thinking of you,
In a very special way.
They’re all tied up with pretty bows,
Of satin and of lace,
The card tells me it comes with love,
Best wishes, just in case.
The pink bouquet has found its way,
I smell it’s sweet perfume,
Surrounding me with thoughts of love,
As I walk in the room.
The scent so softly lingers,
Just like my love for you,
It’s nice to get some flowers,
Especially out the blue.
