Belonging I'm happy in the knowledge,
That what will be, will be,
And all life's disappointments,
Are but a trial for me.
My quiet quest for happiness,
Will one day come my way,
But life is full of ups and downs,
In living day to day.
My happiness will come to me,
When I'm no longer longing,
For the only thing I really need,
Is simply just belonging.
Belonging where I am right now,
In perfect company,
And knowing for the future,
