God didn't call me home
I went there voluntary
I asked God to take me away
To protect the ones I love
I didn't want to hurt my loved ones
So it was better that I went away
I'll smile down upon them
And bless their lives

Before I leave this place
I want to say I'm sorry
Sorry for the things I said
That made you sad or angry
Sorry for the pain I caused
When I wasn't fully honest
Sorry for causing you to cry
When you felt like I didn't love you
Please know this before I die
I loved you more than ever
If only God would allow me to
I'd turn back the hands of time
But what's done is done
What's said has been said
I know I hurt you many times
But please keep me in your heart
For when God
Calls you Home
