A Rose Without A Thorn

What can I say about her,
What do you need to know,
She turned life round completely,
Eleven years ago.

The first time that I saw her,
She blew my mind away,
I never quite recovered,
It seems like yesterday.

She has the sweetest nature,
She's sensitive you see,
She's loving, kind and thoughtful,
I wonder what she thinks of me.

She's growing up so quickly,
I know that she'll go far,
Right now she cannot wait until,
She gets to wear a bra.

For now she's just contented,
To paint her nails and toes,
A little bit of lip gloss,
And some powder for her nose.

She's waiting, quietly waiting,
To take the world by storm,
She's like a precious rose to me,
A rose without a thorn.
