Structure

At times I feel that life is passing by,
So many that I have no time to see,
Tonight I feel the need to let it fly,
And grasp the last remaining part of me,

I know I should be pleased I'm in demand,
But sadly there's, too few hours in my day,
I cannot seem to make them understand,
That I need time to eat, and sleep and play,

I realise that I should tell them “no”,
But when push comes to shove I can't refuse,
It's just another day, another show,
For some to win, and others set to lose.

I'm trying to find some structure to my day,
And wonder, if there really is a way.
